The entry-level PlateRite 4300E and high-speed PlateRite 4300S platesetters bring superior quality and reliability to the production of 2-up to 6-up plates. The PlateRite 4300E and PlateRite 4300S offer the same high-quality features, such as a proven external drum design. Both models are able to handle the plate requirements of web and sheetfed presses. The PlateRite 4300E has a 16-channel laser diode imaging head that supports resolutions of 2,400 dpi, 2,438 dpi and 2,540 dpi. The PlateRite 4300S incorporates a 32-channel head, supporting imaging resolutions from 1,200 dpi to 4,000 dpi. At 2,400 dpi, the PlateRite 4300E can output up to 11 plates per hour, while the PlateRite 4300S can output 21 plates per hour. |

Screen's flagship 8-up CTP device is well suited to companies with above-average plate demands. The PlateRite 8800 series offers fast, reliable output, making it the perfect tool for the most advanced digital workflows. The PlateRite 8800 series features four models that handle plate sizes from 12" x 14.6" to 45.6" x 37". Multi-channel imaging heads based on grating light valve technology (GLV) ensure exceptional throughput. Support for imaging resolutions of 1,200, 2,400, 2,438 and 2,540 dpi is standard. The PlateRite 8800E outputs 24 plates per hour when using a 40.5 " x 31.4" plate and 2,400 dpi resolution. The PlateRite 8800S outputs 32 plates per hour. The PlateRite 8800Z has an option for resolutions of 4,000 dpi, high enough for the printing of bonds, securities and lenticular products. It outputs 42 plates per hour.
